Rhonda Tarrant is originally from Southeast Missouri and is the wife of Head Coach Sean Tarrant, a Mom, a Meme and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She has been in education for 23 years and looks forward to retirement soon. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. She is currently a 4th grade teacher for DeKalb County Schools at Chapel Hill Elementary School. Additionally, she is the Association Representative for the Organization of DeKalb Educators, Georgia Association of Teachers and the National Education Association. Although her first love is teaching elementary aged students, she has previously taught high school General Math, Trigonometry, Economics, Consumer Math and Calculus! She is certified in the areas of Reading and ESOL for the state of Georgia. Mrs. Tarrant has also monitored for state testing along with proctoring for the SAT and ACT exams. She will serve as the Academic Advisor for the 2019-2020 academic school year for Champion Prep Sports Academy.
