COACH HERB GOODE
Wide Receiver Coach
Coach Herb Goode is entering his first year at Georgia Prep
Sports Academy and eighth year in coaching. Prior to coaching at
GPSA, Goode served as a wide receivers coach at Cardinal Gibbons
HS in his native Raleigh, NC. Coach Goode attended Athens Drive
HS and Northampton County HS-East where he lettered in track and
football. Following a successful high school career, he attended
Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. Goode completed his
playing days in the NIFL (National Indoor Football League) with
the Fayetteville Guard in Fayetteville, NC. It is after his
playing days that Goode found his passion for teaching the next
generation, as he has coached at the youth, middle and high
school levels during the course of his career.
Coach Goode is founder/coach of NSPIREPERFORMANCE, a non-profit skills
training and camp program dedicated to the competitive nature of
football, as well as providing young athletes an opportunity to learn
what it takes to soundly play the wide receiver position at their
maximum level, become leaders in their community and succeed in their
own individual lives. Goode resides in the Atlanta area with his wife
Delorse and their Children.
